Taking the team on the road for our last away game of the season, it took a single goal to divide two evenly matched teams.
It was certainly an end to end sort of game with both teams battling for a goal, a delightful through run by our returning Coach almost broke the deadlock and for the next phase of play we peppered their goalkeeper with shots from all directions.
Our mid field ran their socks off and our forwards were lively and supported each other well.
The goal came in the dying minutes of the first half from a very late short corner in dead time.
We knew we could come back from this but for some fine saves from the K sports goalie the game remained with this solitary goal.
The season has gone very well for this team, we are always going see plenty of players through our ranks, and it makes me smile to see so many talented youngsters starting their senior games with us!
