The weather was grey and drizzly as the 3s journeyed their way to Marden on a Saturday afternoon, with Johanna (DOD) rocking up fashionably late 10 minutes before the match because of her terrible driving skills😔. The first half started off strong, with Canterbury matching Marden’s attacks, and overall playing well. However, despite our best efforts the half ended with 2 unlucky goals conceded within the last few minutes.
Second half, Canterbury fight back, with Phil (an absolute machine and MOM) and the defensive line refusing any Marden players a goal. As well as Sue (also an absolute machine) at the front line pressuring the opposition like there’s no tomorrow. Unfortunately, the match ended with no goals scored in the second half, but the overall loss of 2-0 does not reflect the overall game the 3s played at all .
