The 5s took part in a very enjoyable game on Saturday, seconded by the opposition who commented what a fabulous game it was!
The play was predominately in our attacking third in the first half, but we could not take advantage of this possession until 17 minutes, when midfield dynamo Kate slotted home the first goal.
Charlotte and her defence were resolute and kept the Blackheath forwards at bay.
To be honest, maybe we could have scored a few more in the first half but the final ball was proving tricky!.
However early on in the second half Blackheath surprized us with a two touch play from a hit out sneaking home an equalizer.
It was from this play that Canterbury took control and by the end of the second half we took advantage of two more goals, first one from Pippa and one from a well worked short corner from Ziggy.

As I passed the note book around the team for their comments I was pleased how positive every one was, with some interesting comments about how well the team is jelling and how determined we all are to improve.. Teamwork girls = Dream-work!
