On possibly the coldest January afternoon known to mankind, the 4s journeyed up to Kent College Pembury to play against Tunbridge Wells.
We charged into the game with the same fierce determination as last week – scores opened with a well-worked goal, with the team showing off the finest skills, finished off by Lottie. With determination from all putting on some lovely game play, Mel’s no nonsense slap took us into halftime 2-0. Tunbridge Wells weren’t happy and came back from break fighting hard with a few short corners awarded but none game to fruition. With temperatures dropping to new extreme the Tunbridge goalie decided it was time to start running to the top D – Zoe saw her chance, sidestep the keeper and found the open net. The eventful match was finished on a high note when Canterbury were awarded a short corner which finished with a beautiful tap in from Mim. A very cold, very fun 4-0 win for the 4s!
