On a chilly Saturday afternoon, the 5s travelled to Bexley and were immediately put under pressure by the opposition.
We fought hard in the first half but still struggled to get much opportunity in the D. The opposition had many short corners but failed to convert any of them.
We came out in the second half and in the sixth minute Julie produced a brilliant strike from a short corner to make us 1-0 up.
The second half continued, with the opposition once again having many short corners but our defence and especially our golden girl Ava defended brilliantly to stop any shots going in. Unfortunately the opposition scored in the last 2 minutes.
But a very well deserved draw.
