The Millers encountered a well organised Sevenoaks side this week. The game was fairly even throughout, with the Millers having some of the better chances early on. However, it was the visitors who took the lead towards the end of the first half through a well worked short corner routine, eventually scoring off of the rebound.
In the second half, the Millers came out with renewed vigour and went close to levelling, several times, before Barry Thomas finally wobbled his way through a crowd of defenders and shot past the keeper (shortly before falling over and hitting the deck: his trademark style). The home side continued to push forward and were unlucky not to take all the points with a late Diego strike from the top of the D.
Good performances from Martin Long-Castro, Reef Upton and Thomas Newell again this week and a big thanks to Stuart and Kevin for umpiring what was a (generally) good-natured game.
