With a magnificent MOM prize up for grabs, and DOD already secured, Canterbury Ladies 4s stepped onto the sand pitch ready to rock. And rock they did, blasting Ashford away with their ferocity. Unfortunately, efforts were not rewarded with a goal by half time , so Canterbury readjusted a few things at half time and came out with equal ferocity after the break. This half saw more movement up front and more running into space and there was lovely hockey to be seen, creating chance after chance, a goal was never in doubt- it was just how many?! Elysia slotted the ball home after relentless pressure from the whole forwarded line and midfield. Even after a barrage of short corners after the final whistle , score remained 1.0 A fabulous win!
