Lost 3-1

G’day lords and ladies.
It was a scorching sunny arvo (above 5 degrees finally) when the canterbury sheilas hit the turf against Maidstone. We put maidstone under heaps of pressure causing them to cough the ball up (more than Emma was coughing at the back). Unfortunately, we conceded the first goal to a short corner and were down 1-0 at half time. More back and forth play occurred until we conceded another goal to be 2-0 down. The scoreboard didn’t stop us and we continued to press aggressively. Our fierce determination resulted in Kayla scoring a banging tomma (LBZ) to make it 2-1. An unlucky short corner at the end of the game resulted in another goal to maidstone with the final result being 3-1.
Cheers mate,
The Canterbury Aussies 🦘
