Julie G! Please can you put this match report wherever it needs to go for the world to see it! Canterbury Ladies Over 45 vs Woking
The team arrived fully prepared for a tough match against Woking, with the prosecco packed by Sibs (at least someone remembered the essentials!) Canterbury dominated the first half and pulled ahead following a penalty stroke converted by Nikki. The attacks continued into the second half, along with some good saves by Trudy at the other end. A gritty defence for the very tense last five minutes in driving rain meant that we successfully held on to our 1-0 well-deserved win.
Bring on either Cambridge City or St Albans in the next round 5th February at HOME! MOM Trudy for keeping us in it in the first half!
