Match report Ladies 4’s
Canterbury 4 v Holcombe 4
Barely over the new year festivities Canterbury eggcitedly travelled to Holcombe for a reeggrranged game. Canterbury sitting equal top of the league with a game in hand hoping they wouldn’t crack under this pressure. They hatched a game plan to go out hard and score within the first five minutes. It took 3 minutes for Nikki to find the back of the net. Holcombe were shell shocked!
By half time we were cruising at 3.0 with Ellie A slotting two eggcellent shots home, including one she poached.
Eggstremely solid defending performances by Maddie and Gabs, and an eggsplosive save from Kendra didn’t give Holcombe a look in.
With no yoking around Canterbury kept up the pressure and Ellie got her hat trick when she went back on after halftime and with an eggceedingly scrambled shot which she managed to pop in. Scarlett then fried the defence in an eggceptional manner and scored from a short corner making it a convincing 5.0.
