Ashford started with zest taking the Canterbury squad by surprize, scoring within a few minutes. This probably woke the team up a bit who came back strongly, Sapphire playing a major part in the play.
After a challenging rest of the half the defence remained strong and the game remained at 1-1
We had a half time regrouping and came into the second half with some lovely runs up field. Lottie sealed the three points with a beautiful reverse stick shot.
The team are current second place in the League and are looking forward to their next adventure at Maidstone next week.
