The girls started the game well with some positive counter attacks. However a corner drag flick going off target deflected by a Canterbury defender opened the scoring. Canterbury found it hard to bounce back and conceded an open play goal during the second phase of attack. Barnes went on to score a further goal by rebound to make it 3-0. Canterbury fought back in the final quarter to score a consolation goal via an excellent interception form Domininique Masters to Sarah Kerly. Tough day at the office but looking forward to bouncing back with a home game vs Witney at 13:30.
