Good morrow promiscuous peasants,
Morning started with Vicky collecting the Canters lot from polo; Tiegan left a 2s shirt on Suzi’s tyre and Jorja left Suzi unlocked #poloissafespace.
Vicky fills up her car and proceeds to get into the wrong car after paying. We collect Andy from Brenley (did drive past her twice). A few navigational issues with the driver, but copilot Jules managed to calm the situation.
Arrive at Duke Meadows, manky coffee in hand, but at least it’s a coffee. Serious team chat from the other SUZY (some like to think she’s more important), followed by a dance party with a few that wanted to get loosey goosey, and then warm up under way.
Quarter 1
We bring the game to them and the quarter ends with an attacking PC for us and bish bash bosh, the name to remember, KATE, scores. Great start.
Quarter 2
Bringing the game to them yet again and another OC won, and Barnsey slaps it straight into the back board. Kate nearly had a touch on it but Barnsey doesn’t need anyone to finish after.
Their mandem coach is panicking; he clearly didn’t get warmed up with Genius Square.
Half-time chat is great Suzy plans our next attacking corner (which we don’t get lols thanks Suzy for planning ahead tho).
Quarter 3
We step off the pedal sadly, and Barnes manage to win two short corners, which they manage to score both, but that did not let our heads drop. Shout out to Charlotte who made her debut with some cracking saves and massive clearances.
Quarter 4
CARA brings the game to them with a cracking (7th time lucky) one time shot that hits the back board. She ate and left no crumbs. Mandem is now panicking and thinks he can shout a bit louder to intimidate, but nah our skin is thick. The umpires award the opp a penalty flick but lol she fumbles, and the umpires think “shame, let’s give another chance because APPAZ Aurora’s ain’t on the line,” and bigger LOL she misses the whole goal #karma.
