What a fabulous day to play a game of hockey!
The sun was shining and the girls were in good spirits for their match against Burnt Ash.
They started brightly and controlled most of the first half with good flowing moves, we had many circle entries, hitting the post a number of times and were unlucky not to score earlier.
The team waited until 21 minutes before Louise stepped up and slotted a field goal home.
The rest of the game, especially following the half time, was more of a surprize as the opposition stepped on the gas and put us on the back foot.
GK Ava was fantastic as usual, and kept us in the game several times as the dynamics changed and Burnt Ash stretched us searching for the equalizer. This came in the 45 minute following a short corner.
The final moments were end to end exciting stuff, the team worked hard and took a good point from the game.
