We had a very tense start to our day with the possibility of just 9 players starting due to a car mechanical problem! However cheers went up when the final players arrived with 15 minutes to spare.
We started the game with a scrappy 15 minutes, but gradually we settled and scored from a score corner which was unfortunately disallowed, however we made it 1-0 up by half time from another corner with Suzie firing home.
Refreshed and topped up with jelly babies, we started the second half with greater ball speed and quicker pace. Great team work lead to Louise scoring number 2 followed by an excellent team goal from Kate who scored a top of the D screamer.
Louise rounded off the game with goal number 4 . The team’s spirit is now high for another all important game next week. Don’t forget to add your availability to TEAMO.
