This weekend, we traveled to the lovely Sittingbourne for a game against Gore Court. We all knew it was going to be a game with lots of chat and aggression, but I don’t think any of us were quite expecting what we got. Shoulders were being put into people, leaving them with gashes on their faces, and sticks were being thrown around people’s heads.
Now, onto the game. We went 1-0 down within the first 15 minutes, but we came back with a goal just before half-time. However, they scored another goal, making it 2-1 to them at half-time. We kept our heads up, knowing we had a good second half in us.
In the second half, we scored early on to make it a real fight. Both teams didn’t back down; it was scrappy and intense. Neither team was giving up, but sadly, they came out on top with a 3-2 win.
