Dear diary,
We were soooooo wet. Nathan was not happy with an 8 minute team talk while everyone rocked up on Gibraltar’s timings with help from Steel’s stealing. A quick play with the sticks and balls and we were ready to go. Alex, Vicky and Cara making dreamy runs to the D, their favourite thing. The first half saw chirpy take us to 1-0 by putting it in deep in the goal. Second goal came from Tara playing with the ball beautifully, right in front of the goalie, Tara’s debut with the balls. After getting a feel for balls, Tara wanted more taking us to 3-0, some would say she was turned, although her jug avoidance suggests otherwise. Georgia was like a bouncer to the goal keeping some hella shots out. After a half time getting ourselves together we came out refreshed and wanting more. Jamie was in the D for short corners with Gemma on the post looking for glory. The second half saw EJ putting it in, something she’s good at, taking the team to 4-0. Big shoutout to slapper Jina, right around the back and dunny’s command of the back. Irmak’s tackles and Rachel’s magic in the middle carried us through to a 4-0 win.
