Went up the A2 again and found a third eleven with plenty of subs, a coach and a real want to win
The score line flatters the opposition as all worked hard and played with pride for the team. A contested second goal just before half time rather wounded the side; a burst of slick passing and young legs undid the Squires shortly after half time with three more goals quickly conceded. With true grit and termination for 20 minutes we blocked the constant attacks out until a superb pass undid the defence one more time
We had our chances but never really got on the front foot and now see a stretch of games against the top three in the league looming
A lovely atmosphere back at Bexley Cricket Club after the game saw the high point of the day……England squeaked a victory in the rugby and chilli and rice!!!
