The ladies 3s travelled to Bexleyheath and Belvedere this week hoping for a win. After a positive team talk and some motivational music to keep us going during the warm up, we started the game.
We quickly put pressure on them and won an early short corner. A lovely push out from Jess resulted in a beautiful strike from Lizzie making the score 1-0. We had plenty of chances in the D and a few more short corners however it stayed 1-0 at half time.
The second half we came out hungry for more goals however chances were created but no result until a lovely run from Georgina and clean strike made it 2-0.
Solid defending at the back meant that they had very few chances and Canterbury were dominating. The result ended 2-0 to Canterbury.
