As we are a new team we started off cautiously as we presumed we were going to play a competent and well-drilled Holcombe team. I think we communicated well to each other as considering we are a new team and we transferred the ball well too. It was great to see how effective our transfers were. Unfortunetly our first and only goal conceded was by a wayward pass across the D from Ethan Aitken which got intercepted. However we obtain many short corners throughout the match and had majority of the possession in the 3rd and 4th quarter. In the 3rd quarter Stewart Keir took a drag flick which was headed for the top right corner of the goal but was stopped illegally which lead to a penalty flick. This lead to Andrew Hurst taking the flick and it going to the left side of the goal, which boosted the teams morale.
