Canterbury welcomed University of Bristol to Polo Farm for the last game of the season. Canterbury soon went 1-0 up with a good dragflick smacking the backboard from Marshall Puzey.
With some good link up play between the Canterbury midfield and forward lines making the Bristol Uni goal keeper have to work hard, Alec ‘The Rabbit’ Rasmussen then found the bottom corner of the Bristol goal with a cleanly hit reverse stick shot, making it 2-0.
The second half starts and with some good saves from Chris and well swept up at the back by the Canterbury defence we keep Bristol Uni at bay. Some well worked link up between Tom D and Craig meant that Canterbury were on the offensive for a good majority of the second half. More goals followed, Rhys Harmer once again found himself in front of goal putting the ball in the back of the net and thenJack Valentine having missed a penalty stroke then found the back of the goal with a well executed deflection off a ball from Hamish Roberts.
