It was a beautiful morning when the 5s traveled away to Sevenoaks, after everyone had arrived after going different routes and missing junctions we prepared our selves for a good battle.
Play started strong with majority Canterbury possession in the attacking D, everyone was linking well with several short corners and soon a beautiful goal came from Tempe. Sevenoaks however managed to sneak one back quickly with a lucky break.
Canterbury continued strong with some great passes and leads but unfortunately Sevenoaks slipped another one in.
We couldn’t allow this, so Canterbury came back fighting and Tempe managed to sneak another goal over the line.
Such amazing effort that half-time was definitely needed, ably assisted with Fiona’s sweet shop selection.
Both teams came back out with strength and the play went from one end to the other constantly but no goals were scored in the second half.
