The game started with a light shower and Canterbury raring to go. Despite some sticky defence from the opposition we were able to get the ball across the D to be swept in on the post by Ellie. Despite dominating possession for the rest of the first half and some great runs by Rachel and Zoe , there were no more goals.
The second half started scary with the opposition in our D. Luckily our amazing defence scared them off, so much so that they scored in the back of their own net after a strong shot from Johanna (the birthday girl). This was followed by another sneaky goal on the post from Ellie, assisted by Johanna. We finished off the game with a nice one two from the baseline to Libby on the P-spot who megged the goalie and brought us to a 4-0 victory.
