The rain cleared as Canterbury took to the pitch for an afternoon match against Burnt Ash and within three minutes Sapphire had slotted in a well placed goal from a ball passed in by play between Georgina and Scarlett from the right.
Canterbury continued their attacking play, hitting the goal posts twice, and finally rewarded with a cracker from Gill, deflected in from a cross by Georgina again.
Play continued mainly in the oppositions half, but following an opposition break and a missed foot in the D they scored, and then slipped another one in before half -time to bring the score to 2-2 at half-time.
In the second half Canterbury came out hard and within 10 minutes, following some lovely team play down the right, Sophie slipped it in to Georgina to score a well deserved third goal.
Unfortunately with a brief lapse in concentration Burnt Ash, came back with another goal, and despite some lovely attacking play by the team, the score remained a draw at 3-3.
