Taking to the road with a bare11 squad, might have been quite a challenge for some, but following on from a disappointing fixture last week, the girls were certainly up for that challenge!
The girls battled bravely as the game developed into a thrilling evenly matched type of game.
New recruit Paula showed her pace with some dynamic runs, and Rhiannon shook off a night shift to keep us ticking over beautifully through her well timed tackles and midfield control.
Gravesend took the lead just into the second half , but the girls didn’t get rattled , playing some well controlled hockey, we waited until the 63rd mins when Immy assisted Mel to fire home and equal the points.
