Our Quater final game against the Army got off to a slow start with Canterbury lucky not to go behind. With a goal against the run of play from cara and a second following quickly after from a corner from Mel, Canterbury settled into the game and started to play some lovely hockey. A third came from Lucy in open play but the Army got one back making it 3-1 going into half time.
The 4th came from a textbook attack down the right finished off with belly flop assist from Moi and a lovely tap in from Vicky on the back post.
Another corner rebound from Juliet making it 5 and last but not least a strike from Nikki sealing the victory and a place in the Semi Finals in April.
Thanks to our umpires Andy Mair and Les, all that came to watch and to the team for some glorious hockey.
