5’s v Folkestone
The weather was gloomy but our camaraderie was high. An exciting day for us as we had two new players… Izzy and our very own Foxy. Our spirit remained high on the pitch and we dominated Folkestone keeping all the play within their half but despite some decent shots the goals weren’t coming.
They had a moment to break through and took it. So we went to half time feeling low. Foxy gave a good chat and we went back in feeling positive but the rain only increased and despite some fabulous one twos from Kate and Lou and some beautiful runs from Suzie, Izzy and Tempe, we were unable to pull one back. Our own backs remained strong and Ava stopped a couple of goals for us too.
An annoying result but a fun day nevertheless and a stunning performance from our MOM Tempe! Well done.
