Sun was shining moral was high, with Eirian leading a fabulous motivational team talk we were ready for a strong game.
First half we struggled to link up play while there were some brilliant individual play by some key players, we couldn’t find the back of the net. Marden took the lead despite some tough defending by the Canterbury girls.
In the second half there was a significant improvement, communication improved and the link up play improved . Unfortunately despite our best efforts a goal was not to be.
Lots to still learn but we will continue to be positive in next weeks game.
Even our little doggie friends were dressed up for the occasion!
