MoM: Maddie Leech
It was an early start for Canterbury 5s on the road to K Sports in Aylesford. Everyone was in high spirits as the weather cleared and we’re feeling optimistic aiming to improve further from last weeks game. With the sun shining brightly, and despite a few exciting counter attacks and segments of smooth passing, we went into the second half 0-0 with Niamh and the team keeping the scoreline clean. After an uplifting pep-talk from Alex and Foxy, we went into the second half hopeful to continue our good snippets of play and finally score a well deserved goal. This wouldn’t be our week, finishing the game at 0-2. The girls all put in a cracking effort and everyone took on what was said at half time, implementing it as best they could. We have been improving week by week with Eirian’s excellent coaching and we will get her a goal! Match report: Chloe Davison
