On a cold, tired day Canterbury 4’s started strong although, Alex was told off by the umpire for commentating on the game, she made up for it with a goal from a short corner. Keeping up the momentum, possibly from a short, we were so into the game we can’t remember, Sophie scored a corker of a goal making us 2-0 up. Several short corners later with no extra goals, towards the end of the first half, Eleni made a great pass finishing with a goal from Hannah making it 3-0. After a quick team talk at half time and some very important jelly babies, Canterbury 4’s came out for the second half. A wobbly start to the second half allowed 2 goals to be scored against us but we stayed strong coming out with a 3-2 win. A special mention to Jess for her cracking head-but with the other team and carrying on with a few more falls. All in all a good game and a well deserved win.
