Over 45s v Marden 3.0 win!
Canterbury headed to Marden with the bare eleven, which included crocs, cripples and retirees but a good team spirit overcame these obstacles producing a dominant first half performance.
In a goalmouth scramble Suzie McCully managed to tap one from close range.
With continued pressure a second precision goal hit the backboard from Lynn Lauder on the edge of the circle.
The third goal scored during the second half by Mel Clewlow ( yes she is finally a VET! ) sealed our propulsion into the second round of the Masters Cup.
