The first team arrived in sunny reading full of confidence. The game started strong with Canterbury on the front foot dominating possession and having a few chances. Reading scored from their first real attack from an interesting short corner decision shortly followed by another in a similar fashion. Canterbury continued to battle through the middle of the field, matching them like for like. Readings corners proved successful getting their third. As Canterbury looked to fight back, reading got a good goal in open play. We continued to battle with Dom being the hero for the second time today after bringing spare Astro’s, scoring a rocket in the final quarter. The game finished 4-1 however Canterbury matched reading throughout and will look to build on it for next week.
